Desserts: Honey Cookies

Tein tuossa sunnuntaina ensimmäistä kertaa hunajakeksejä. Reseptin löysin Lunni Leipoo - blogista. Olin yllättynyt kuinka nopeasti keksit syntyivät. Siis taikinan valmistus ja paisto 35 min! Äärettömän helppo resepti ja koostuu aineksista, joita aina löytyy kotona. Itse lisäsin taikinaan vielä ruokalusikallisen vaahterasiirappia, jonka tuloksena keksit maistuivat ihan daim:lta. Suomenkielinen resepti löytyy täältä

On sunday for the first time I made honey cookies. I found this recipe from the Lunni leipoo - blog. I was surprised how fast the cookies were done. Dough making and baking took about 35 minutes. So fast! So simple and made of ingredients that you can always find in your home. I added one tablespoon of maple syrup, which made the cookies taste like daim. Yum!

Honey cookies:
100g of room temperature butter
1 dl of sugary
2 tbs of running honey
1 tbs vanilla sugar
2 dl of flour
1/2 ts of baking soda

Heat the oven to 175 degrees of celsius. Mix the soft butter with sugar, add honey and vanilla sugar. Mix the baking soda with flours in a seperate bowl and then add it to the dough. Divide the dough into four parts, tap it lightly in rectangle shape  to a baking paper. If you want, you can press little pattern with a fork. Bake the cookies in the oven for about 12-15 minutes. Then cut the dough parts into bars while they are hot. Let the cool down and enjoy.

Tips:
- If you want to have a little flavour, add a touch cinnamon or ginger.
- adding maple syrup makes the cookies taste like daim. =)
