Say Statement.

Viime viikolla postissa tuli tämä uskomaton kaulakoru, jota tuli pari viikkoa odoteltuakin. Todellinen statement koru! Rakastan näyttäviä koruja ja haluan, että koruni herättävät minussa erilaisia tuntemuksia ja persoonia :D :D Tämä herätti minussa sanan soturinainen, rakastan myös korun ns. ruosteisuutta ja vanhanaikaisuutta. Koru on hm.com:sta The New Icons mallistosta. 

Last week I got this amazing necklace from a post package. Oh, and it was very long waited also. A real statement necklace. I love showy jewellery and I want that my jewellery awakes different feelings and personalities in me. :D :D When I look at this, only one thing comes to my mind - Warrior. I also love that the necklace is rusty and little old fashioned. Necklace is from H&M´s New Icons collection.

Beyonce for H&M.

Beyonce, tuo uskomaton monitaituri. Ei ole asiaa, jota Beyonce ei taittaisi. Hän on tämän vuoden yksi puhutuimmista artisteista, kuten myös H&M:n kesäkampanjan kasvo. Voin kertoa, että olen NIIN innoissani.!! Ah, kuvat ovat aivan uskomattomia, Beyonce on kuin Afrodite. Beyonce on tehnyt yhteistyötä H&M:n suunnittelutiimin kanssa, saadakseen mallistosta mahdollisimman hänen näköisen. Suunnittelussa on tutkittu naisten erilaisia tunteita neljän elementin – tulen, veden, maan ja tuulen – kautta. Siltä ne myös näyttävät. Uskomatonta. Mallistosta löytyy myös muutamia tuotteita, joiden  tuotosta 25 prosenttia lahjoitetaan H&M for Water:lle. Kaiken tämän lisäksi Beyonce on tehnyt uuden kappaleen ja musiikkivideon tälle kampanjalle. Biisin nimi on Standing on the Sun ja video on mieletön. Minusta on ihanaa, että kerrankin kesäkampanjan kasvo on kurvikas, kaunis ja luonnollinen. 

Beyonce, that unbelievable multimaster of showbizz. There isn´t a thing that Beyonce wouldn´t handle. She is one the biggest artist right now and also the face of H&M´s summer campaign. Let me tell you, that I´m so exited!! Oh my god, the photos are so amazing, Beyonce is just like Aphrodite. Beyonce did a lot of co-operation with H&M´s designteam, just to get the collection look like her. In the collaboration H&M and Beyonce explored the different emotions of women represented by the four elements -- fire, water, earth and wind. I love it, because I love the elements and those elements really show in the clothes! There are few garments in the collection that has H&M for Water label -  25 per cent of sales of which will be donated to H&M for Water. Also, on top of this everything Beyonce has made a new song and video for this campaign. Song is called Standing on the Sun and the video is bananas! I just love, that for once the face of Summer Campaign is beautiful, curvaceous and natural.

Catwalk SS2013: Just Cavalli

Cavalli, mikä sana kuvaisi parhaiten Cavallia? Seksi, seksi, eläinprintit ja vähä lisää seksiä. :D Just Cavalli - mallistot ovat aina raikkaita, seksikkäitä ja tietyllä tavalla boheemeja. Tämän kevään mallistossa fiilistelin todella valkoisen tuomaa raikkautta, tehostevärejä printeissä, sulavia linjoja yhdistettynä denimiin. 

What is the best word to describe Cavalli? Sex, sex, animalprints and more sex.:D Just Cavalli - collections are always fresh, sexy and somehow bohemian. And I love it! In this spring collection I really liked the freshness of white, effect colours in prints, smooth line combined with denim.

Recipe of the Week: Potato flat bread

Pahoittelen, että viimeisimmästä postauksestani on jo viikko vierähtänyt. Olen ollut kipeä koko alku viikon ja silloin ei hirveästi tunnu ajatus lentävän. Nyt kuitenkin on jo aikakin karistaa flunssat sun muut talven jätökset hartioilta ja keskittyä uusin silmin kevääseen. :)

Tuossa muutama viikko sitten olimme tehneet yllättävän suuren määrän muussia. Mietiskelin sitten, mitä siitä vielä saisi, kunnes ajatus välähti. Perunarieskoja tietysti. Olin todella yllättynyt kuinka helppo resepti oli ja kuinka paljon maukkaampaa oma rieska on. Nyt ajatellen, niin tietty oma tekemä on parempaa. Suomenkielinen resepti löytyy täältä. 

I´m sorry that you haven´t heard from me for a week. I´ve been sick this hole week, and I´m so sick of it. Also when you´re sick nothing seems to be interesting. But I´ve decided that now it´s time 

shake winter´s dust off and face the spring with new eyes. :)

About two weeks ago, we accidentally made too much of mashed potatoes. Then I was wondering, what could I make from it. The answer was right in front of me the whole time. Potato flat bread of course! Oh my, it was so much more tasteful when you make it yourself. 

Potato Flat Bread

about 670g mashed potatoes

1/2 ts salt

about 180g of wholegrain flour

1 egg

Step 1:

Mix all the ingredients together. Make sure your mashed potatoes isn´t hot. Leave the dough soft. Divide the dough in half and the divide both half into eight pieces. Scatter flour on top and tap into little flat breads.

Step 2:

Sting flat breads with a fork and bake on the lowest level of oven in 250C for about 10 to 15 minutes.

Chanel, Chanel. Tarvitseeko enempää sanoa? Chanel ei koskaan, oikeasti KOSKAAN tuota pettymystä. Mallistot ovat aina viimeisen päälle toteutettuja ja asut viimeisen päälle ajateltuja. Karl Lagerfeldilla on mahtava taito tietää miten naiset tahtovat pukeutua ja kuinka uudistua sesongista toiseen. Oma suosikkini mallistosta on valkoinen pitkä mekko jossa on kukkakirjailua. Ah, niin ihana! 

Chanel, Chanel. Need I say more? Chanel never EVER disapoints us. Never. Collections and clothes are always well thought and executed. Karl Lagerfeld has this amazing way to know how women want to be dressed. He just knows how to be modernised every time. My personal favourite from the collection is the long white dress that has flower decoration on it. It so pretty!! I love it! :D

iPad Mini.

Meille tuli tuossa parisen viikkoa sitten uusi lisäys elektroniikka perheeseen, kun poikaystäväni sai aikaiseksi syntymäpäivälahjaksi iPad Mini. Tämä oli todella odotettu juttu ja kyllä on laite ollut kovasti käytössäkin. Oma iphonekin on jäänyt kotosalla hieman toissijaiseksi.

Couple weeks ago we had a new addition to our electronic family, when my boyfriend had iPad Mini for early birthday gift. This was a very expected thing and the device has been in a burning use since then. :D Almost feeling sorry for my iphone for being left out.

Rakastan, rakastan, RAKASTAN Balmainia. Balmain on kuin kävelevää dramatiikkaa ja teatteria. Mallistot ovat ihanan retroja ja särmikkäitä, mutta kuitenkin tietyllä tavalla moderneja. Viimeisen kymmenen vuoden aikana Balmain on muuttunut todelliseksi luksusmerkiksi. Tämän kevään ja kesän mallisto oli mahtava paluu 80-luvulle. Graafinen ja värikäs.

 

I love, love, LOVE Balmain. Balmain is like walking theatre full of drama. Collections are lovely retro and edgy, but still they have this certain kind of modern feeling in it. For the last ten years Balmain has certainly grown into real luxurious label. This spring and summer collection was a great back to the 80´s. So graphic and colourful.

Easter.

Olen tässä pitänyt pienen pääsiäisloman. Loma tuli todella tarpeeseen ja olo onkin nyt virittäytynyt kevääseen. Satuin olemaan pääsiäisen vapaalla, joten tietysti lähdettiin viettämään laatuaikaa vanhempieni luokse Lohjalle. Sunnuntaina kävimme enoni 60- vuotissynttäreillä ja oli ihanaa nähdä kaikkia äidin puolen sukulaisia. Suku on minulle todella tärkeä ja rakas asia. Minulla sitä sukua todellakin riittää vanhempien molemmin puolin. :D  Tässä siis pieni kuvakatsaus pääsiäiseen.

  I´ve been having a little Easter vacation. Vacation came in a great time and now it feels like I´m ready for spring. I happened to have Easter off from work, so of course we left Turku and went to see my parents in Lohja. Qualitytime with family. On Sunday we went to my uncles 60th birthday and it was great to see lots of my mom side relatives. Family is very important to me and also very close to heart. Also I have a lot of family on both sides :D.
